Costa Brava SURROUNDINGS

Torre Valentina:
Without a doubt, it's the most emblematic place in the town and also part of our history and image. Located by the sea, the tower was built in the 16th century to monitor pirate attacks. It is one of the most famous and best preserved defense towers on the entire Costa Brava. Located at the end of the Calonge promenade, surrounded by a wide and beautiful beach of fine sand and a walkway that continues to Platja d'Aro, your visit will not leave you indifferent.

Promenade:
Full of terraces and shops, a walk along the promenade is a must, especially to see the wonderful views of the Bay of Palamós.

Calonge:
Located in the innermost part of the municipality, it is surrounded by the Massís de les Gavarres, a protected natural environment where you can go hiking and mountain biking through the Mediterranean forests of the area.

Only 3 km separate Palamós from Sant Antoni de Calonge. Palamós is the maritime capital of the province of Girona and is internationally recognized for its fishing port and the fabulous Gamba de Palamós, which you can try in many restaurants in the area. A route along the coastal path will allow you to enjoy its wonderful coves: Cala Margarida, Cala S'alguer, Cala Estreta, La Fosca, Platja Castell, etc ... Many of them, such as Castell beach, one of the last undeveloped on the Costa Brava, have privileged sea beds and crystal clear waters that invite you to swim or enjoy excursions by boat, kayak or paddle surfing.

If you want to go shopping, you cannot miss Platja d'Aro, the large commercial center in the area with shops, restaurants, bars-pubs, nightclubs, large indoor and outdoor leisure centers. Nearby you can also visit Castell d'Aro, a perfectly preserved typical village of the Empordà or S'Agaró, located between Cala Sa Conca and Cala de Sant Pol.
